Undergraduate Research Students Translate Italian Novella

In June 2019, Annachiara Mariani, assistant professor of Italian, led a collaborative project with five Italian majors and minors (Chrissy Grammaticas, Zoe Mazzu, Aurora Parker, Maggie Stroud, Carla Whaleyand) and the city of Roseto degli Abruzzi in Italy. The project was funded by the Undergraduate Research, the Grant Mossman Endowment Scholarship, and the Center for International Education, and would go on to win the award of excellence for the 23rd Exhibition of Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement (EURēCA).
